Transtellationism

one of two major schools of thought in the Astronist religion distinguished by its advocation for supernaturalism in relation to the astronomical world. Contrasted with astronaturalism.

Origin and etymology

  • Astro-English: from Astronese, the word transtellation, denoting a transformative process involving the stars, combined with the suffix -ism denoting a belief; meaning ‘a belief in the union between one’s soul and the stars.’
