Tiritology, also referred to as Astronist missiology, is the dispositional discipline of Astronism dealing with the form, substance, method and nature of the way in which Astronism is disseminated. Tiritological study particularly investigates the method of traditional religious mission in relation to Astronism.
Meanwhile, there exists three major branches of tiritology, each of which focus on different methods or aspects of the dissemination process. These branches include:
Tiritology is derived from the term tirition which means to disseminate via traditional means and especially in the case of Astronism, by non-advertising means in contrast with promulgation.
