Rosanna “Rosa” Parkinson (also spelt as Rosannah or Rosaina; née Heald; November 3, 1842 – July 1910) was the 3rd great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant paternal ancestors in the Stringfellow family line. Recorded as having been born in Jackson Street in Chorley, Lancashire, Rosanna was the daughter of James Heald and Margaret Catterall. Rosanna was baptised on 6th November 1842.
Rosanna is known to have been the wife of William Parkinson (1841 – 1923) and the mother of Ellen Parkinson who was born in 1879. Rosanna is recorded as having died at the age of sixty-seven in Coppull, Chorley.
In Cometanic ancestry, Rosanna is categorised as part of the 5th generation retrograde, classifying her as a distant ancestor of Cometan.
