The religious open market is a concept of Astronist philosophy of religion originating from the theories of Cometan on the future of religion. The concept is linked to the commercialisation of religion and involves the notion that the market for religious adherence and religious services should no longer be solely dictated by the religious adherence of ancestors and relatives, but should instead be a conscious individual decision based on the present circumstances of one's needs as well as the effectiveness of the religious marketing employed by a particular denomination.
