Ralph Moon (also spelt as Moone; August 9, 1724 – December 31, 1793) was an English farmer and landowner as well as the 6th great-grandfather of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Prescott family line.

Born in St Michael’s on Wyre, Lancashire, Ralph is known to have married Elizabeth Stock on 22nd November 1752 at St Thomas the Martyr Church on Church Street, Upholland, Lancashire and to have fathered at least one child named Henry Moon (1753 – 1800). It is recorded that Ralph died at the age of sixty-nine in Eccleston, Lancashire. Ralph Moon was buried at St Mary the Virgin, Eccleston.

In Cometanic ancestry, Ralph is classified as part of the 8th generation retrograde, thus categorising his as an ancestor of Cometan.
