Prefigurism, also referred to as prefigurationism, or prefigurementism, is a Cometanic post-omnidoxical belief orientation encompassed by the notion that the Omnidoxy is the first literary embodiment of humanity's religiosity in relation to The Cosmos and space exploration. This is especially so applied in order to suggest that at the time of the Omnidoxy's initial publication, its ideas and espoused beliefs are not truly valued unlike how they will be in decades or centuries to come. This notion is to be known as the prefiguration argument as it postulates that the Omnidoxy is the earliest organised and clear indication of humanity's religious, spiritual, and philosophical connection with The Cosmos which will only be realised and advanced through the exploration of space.
