Philosophical Astronism is one of the five primary forms of Astronism and makes up one half of the nature of Astronism alongside Religious Astronism. Philosophical Astronism is characterised by a written or oral manifestation of Astronism in which the beliefs, concepts, and theories within the philosophy are explained.

Both philosophical and theoretical Astronism were both firstly exposed in the founding treatise of Astronism known as the Omnidoxy, which is itself a combinatory text of both the theoretical and philosophical forms of the philosophy.
