Personage devotion, also known as the devotion of personage, is a prominent form of devotional practice within Astronism alongside cosmic devotion and is studied as part of devotology. Personage devotion involves different forms of devotion directed towards personages which are specified understandings of a person and their role within Astronism, the first and most studied of which is the personage of Cometan which is itself explored as part of cometanology.

There are various forms of personage devotion, a popular one of which is protomatorism in which devotion to the First of the Followers is enacted while that which is known as cometanic devotion is another central form which of course involves devotion to the personage of Cometan.
