Margaret Porter (1678 – January 1727) was the 8th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Prescott family line. The details surrounding her death remain unknown, but she is known to have married Ralph Porter and to have been the mother of Alice Porter (1700 – 1763). Margaret is understood to have been buried on 21st January 1727 in Kirkham, Lancashire.
In Cometanic ancestry, Margaret is classified as part of the 10th generation retrograde, thus categorising her as an ancestor of Cometan.
