Jane Greenhalgh (c. 1652 – c. 1684) was the 8th great-grandfather of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Prescott family line. Born in Bolton, Lancashire, Jane was the mother of Margaret Mary Greenhalgh (1679 – 1750).
