Ellyn Eleanor Raynberd (also spelt as Raineberd or Rainbird; c. 1523 – January 26, 1615) was the 12th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant paternal ancestors in the Stringfellow family line. Born in Walsham-le-Willows in Suffolk, Ellyn is recorded as the wife of John Raineberd (1543 – 1597) and the mother of Alice Rayneberd (1576 – 1631). The identities of Ellyn’s parents remains unknown although she is registered as having died at the age of ninety-two in Walsham-le-Willows in Suffolk.
In Cometanic ancestry, Ellyn is categorised as part of the 13th generation retrograde, classifying her as a distant ancestor of Cometan.
