Cometanism –– the teachings and beliefs of Cometan in distinction to the doctrines and interpretations held by mainstream, Institutional Astronism, despite the two terms often used synonymously. Cometanism is thus variously applied to denote either the known views of Cometan on certain topics within Astronism, those Astronist beliefs, concepts and practices of Cometanic origin, or the times in which Institutional Astronism, or Astronist orthodoxy, has seen most considerable influence from Cometan.
