Astrony (/ˈastrəʊnɪ/), or the astrony, is a term that is often mistakenly understood to be directly synonymous with the term Astronism, but instead refers to the body of conceptuals that form the philosophy rather than the organisation of these conceptuals which is what the term Astronism itself pertains to. For this reason, in the context of New Concept Development, the process of officialisation is in fact the process of a conceptual being recognised as part of the astrony, after which it will then be organised into Astronism.
