In the field of philosophical demography, Astronism in the Arab world refers to the study of the presence of Astronism involving its diversity, potency, and the nature of its organisation across the transcontinental region of the Arab world stretching across parts of the continents of Asia and Africa and united through their identities as culturally Arab nations.

It is important to note that the study of Astronism's presence in the Arab world, although important in the study of the relationship between Astronism and Islam, it is not synonymous with the latter. However, the study of Astronism in the Arab world is synonymous with the denomination of Tanwir, or Tanwirism, which may also be referred to as Arab Astronism or Arabic Astronism.

In alphabetical order, the countries involved in this study include Algeria, Bahrain, the Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
