Astronism in South Ossetia refers to the presence of the Astronist philosophy and religion in South Ossetia. The operations of the Astronist Institution in this country are under jurisdiction of the Astronist Superiate of South Ossetia which is under partial jurisdiction of the Astronist Superiate of Georgia, a national subsidiary of the worldwide Astronist Institution. As of 2020, there were 120 Astronists living in South Ossetia.
This subnational branch of the Astronist Institution manages the official representation and depiction of Astronism throughout this territory, including efforts to protect the identity of the philosophy with the intention of further disseminating it throughout the territory.
It is the Institution alone that is granted the status of proprietor to the philosophy in this territory as any other organisations or institutions proclaiming such a role are deemed as unauthorised proprietors and are therefore considered as part of the anti-Institutionist movement.
