Anne Platt (née Greane; 1584 – c.1616) was the 11th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Prescott family line. Born in Manchester, Lancashire, Anne was the wife of Edmund (1584 – 1630), with whom she had at least one son named Ralph Platt (1600 – 1658). Little else is known of Anne’s life except that she married her husband Edmund on 21st October 1594 at St Leonard’s Church in Middleton.
In Cometanic ancestry, Anne is classified as part of the 13th generation retrograde, categorising her as a distant ancestor of Cometan.
