Ann Foreshaw (née Mawdsley; March 27, 1774 – June 5, 1854) was a distant maternal ancestor of Cometan, specifically his 5th great-grandmother in the Cottam family line. Born in Burscough, Ormskirk in Lancashire, Ann married John Foreshaw and had at least one son named Henry Foreshaw.
