Analipsis is the technical term used for astrosis when it is conceived as a personal form of transcension. The term may also be used as an alternative to the term transcension itself which typically denotes a humanwide ascension to the stars.

Astrosis has long been understood as a form of transcension, namely the process of reaching the highest condition of the self by means of the astronomical world. In this sense, astrosis can be understood as the personal side to transcension which does itself relate to humanity as a whole.

Etymology

From the Greek work análipsi meaning "ascension" which is interpreted through an Astronist lens to relate to or denote transcension.
