Alice Moone (née Porter; August 18, 1700 – September 8, 1763) was the 7th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Prescott family line. Born in Treales near Kirkham in Lancashire, Alice was the first wife of Henry Moone (1698 – 1771), a successful landowner in Eccleston and the mother of Ralph Moon (1724 – 1793), the son connecting her to Cometanic ancestry. Alice married Henry in Kirkham on 4th December 1720 and they had a total of 9 (or possibly 10) children together named Robert, Ralph, Margaret, Frances, Agnes, Robert, William, Alice, John, and possibly a second son named Ralph. Alice’s parents were Ralph and Margaret Porter.

Alice is recorded as having died at the age of sixty-three in Eccleston by Chorley in Lancashire. In Cometanic ancestry, Alice is classified as part of the 9th generation retrograde, thus categorising her as an ancestor of Cometan.
