Agnes Moon (née Taylor; 1780 – February 7, 1865) was the 4th great-grandmother of Cometan, classified as one of Cometan’s distant maternal ancestors in the Prescott family line.

Born in Whittle-le-Woods, Agnes was the wife of Ralph Moon and is featured in the oldest picture of Cometanic ancestry taken in 1858. It is thought that she married her husband Ralph at St Gregory’s RC Church in Weldbank, Chorley on 14th May 1805.

She died at the age of eighty-four in 1865 and is buried alongside her husband at St Peter & St Paul Catholic Church on Ridley Lane in Mawdesley. The identities of her parents remain unknown.

In Cometanic ancestry, Agnes is classified as part of the 6th generation retrograde, thus categorising her as an ancestor of Cometan.
